"Potremo condividere con tutti il fascino dell'esplorazione e dello studio della materia e dell'universo" afferma Fabiola Giannotti, direttore generale del @cern di Ginevra. Trasmettendo concetti scientifici e tecnologici in modo coinvolgente, un pubblico di tutte le età verrà coinvolto in modo sperimentale per comprendere i fenomeni della fisica. Questo è ciò che accadrà al Cern Science Gateway, progettato dal @rpbw_architects e in fase di realizzazione, museo che celebra l'inventiva e la creatività proprie del mondo della ricerca e dell'ingegneria. Elementi architettonici come #tubi che sembrano sospesi nello spazio evocano la tecnologia all'avanguardia alla base della ricerca più avanzata che sta spingendo indietro la nostra comprensione delle origini dell'universo.
In questi giorni di quarantena non posso fare a meno che pensare a cosa visitare domani. E questo posto è da vedere assolutamente.

"We will be able to share with everyone the fascination of exploring and studying matter and the universe," says Fabiola Giannotti, General Manager of @cern in Geneva. By conveying scientific and technological concepts in an engaging way, an audience of all ages will be involved in an experimental way to understand the phenomena of physics. This is what will happen at the Cern Science Gateway, designed by @rpbw_architects and now in progress, a museum that celebrates the inventiveness and creativity of the world of research and engineering. Architectural elements such as tubes that seem to be suspended in space evoke the cutting-edge technology at the basis of the most advanced research that is pushing back our understanding of the origins of the universe.
In these quarantine days I can't stop thinking about what to see tomorrow. And I definitely have to see this place.

La #cucina oggi è il centro della vita domestica.

La #cucina oggi è il centro della vita domestica. Nel tempo ha cambiato le sue vesti diventando sempre di più il fulcro distributivo e di relazione della residenza contemporanea, passando da mero e piccolo locale di servizio, ad ambiente polivalente e multiuso. Con la tendenza #cocooning sviluppatasi negli ultimi anni si è riscoperta la bellezza dello stare in casa e, di conseguenza, le grandi potenzialità che questa offre. E sempre più ce ne stiamo accorgendo in questi giorni di quarantena. La cucina, che la si usi per la trasformazione del cibo, per studiare o lavorare, diventa protagonista indiscussa della vita domestica. Ecco allora che da ambiente #openspace diventa a tutti gli effetti #livingspace.
Nonostante la felice convivenza, tuttavia cucina e living room dovrebbero mantenere comunque la loro identità. Pertanto gioca sui dettagli, sui materiali, sui colori e sull'home decor per separare la funzione #cooking dalla funzione #leisure che lo stesso ambiente consente.🍴🍝 📚 💻

Abitiamo in case contemporanee ma non vogliamo rinunciare alla piattata della nonna. Un cliché. Ma come combinare arredi d’antiquariato e vintage con pezzi di design? Una sfida divertente, molto personale, dove presente e passato convivono insieme richiamando i medesimi canoni di bellezza e gli spigoli e la freddezza della modernità si ammorbidiscono grazie a dettagli d'antan. Perciò sii aperto a sperimentazioni, ad accostamenti arditi, al connubio di diversi linguaggi mantienendo sempre un giusto equilibrio d’insieme.
In questo modo potrai affiancare tavoli Chippendale o scrittoi Luigi XIV a sedute in acciaio o policarbonato ipercontemporanee, bergere barocche a coffee table super minimal e utilizzare madie vintage come mobili bagno. .

Ha appena avuto inizio la terza settimana di quarantena e smart working. E il punto di partenza non può che essere necessariamente il nostro #letto. Difatti ai tempi del #iorestoacasa se la casa è diventata il nuovo ufficio, il letto ne rappresenta la scrivania e a tutti gli effetti è la nostra la base operativa da cui inviare e-mail, scrivere e ricevere telefonate. Uno spazio creativo, di condivisione virtuale dove pensare e produrre attivamente. Oltre ad intimo nido d'amore, il letto oggi più che mai è la nostra finestra sul mondo, contro l'isolamento, l'assopimento creativo e la noia.

An ambitious project is being realized in Dubai fo

An ambitious project is being realized in Dubai for @expo2020dubai : his name is @motf_ae , designed by @killadesign_ and @buro_happold .
It is configured with an unusual inverted ring shape, composed of full and empty volumes that allegorically represent knowledge and the unknown respectively.
Everything was done through #bim technology and @autodeskrevit and it got the Leed Platinum certified.
